Rumors of celebrities having plastic surgery are constantly in headlines. Has she? Hasn’t she? While the media and public alike try to detect who’s had work done and who hasn’t, some stars are so happy with their results that they can’t help but share the news with the world. Many stars have opened up about having breast augmentation surgery to enhance the size of their breasts. In this post, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Joseph Michaels lists some of these stars and the reasons they love their new, fuller bust lines.
Iggy Azalea
After having breast augmentation in November of 2014, pop star Iggy Azalea couldn’t contain her excitement about her new, larger breasts. In an interview with Vogue magazine, Azalea said that she had thought about getting breast implants most of her life and was tired of having to sew padding into her stage costume tops. Though she chose a smaller implant for a more subtle size increase, she was happy about how it helped to balance out her proportions. “I love them so much I had to talk about them!” she told E! Online about her new breasts.
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting
Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, star of the popular TV sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” had breast augmentation surgery at the age of 18 and calls it “the best decision she ever made” in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine. In another interview, this time with Redbook magazine, the 30-year old actress said that before surgery she was unhappy with the size of her small breasts. “I had no boobs!” she told the magazine. “I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body. It wasn’t about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy.”
Kelly Rowland
A few years ago, singer Kelly Rowland had breast augmentation surgery to enhance the size of her breasts. The former Destiny’s Child member spoke about her feelings of self-empowerment as a result of getting implants. She told Cosmopolitan UK magazine, “It’s something I really wanted to do for myself — not for a man, not for work, for myself. And I love them!”
Wendy Williams
TV talk show host Wendy Williams told People magazine she got breast implants because “I just wanted to fit into good clothes. I wanted the body that matched my personality. And the body I have now matches my personality.” The now 51-year-old TV star had breast augmentation surgery in the mid-90s and is still satisfied with her new, more voluptuous figure.
